2018, What a great start!

What a great start to 2018. I have a lot of interest in my manuscript, Carol and Santa, that I submitted various places last fall.

Soon, K-9 & Deputy Heroes will be an audio book with narration by Jim Angell of the Wyoming Press Association. He does voice work on the side and he did an amazing job with my K-9 book. If you’d like to contact him for your services go ahead and contact me on the contact form of my website and I’ll get a message to him.

Here’s a link to the hardcover K-9 book: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/k-9-deputy-heroes-of-the-laramie-county-sheriffs-department-karen-o-cotton/1126374619?ean=9780692851548

I plan to have the K-9 book out soon in paperback form, as well.

I have several book signings in the works for the K-9 book. It’s too soon to delve information on locations, but a lot of businesses have reached out to me. The sales of the K-9 book continue to climb and I thank you, my readers. I have raised some money for the K-9 Sheriff’s Unit Program of the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department. I will be able to give them a check once I get paid from my publisher.

My graphic designer for the K-9 book, Greg Flores, is accepting new clients and commissions and you can reach him at https://www.facebook.com/colorfulcrittersLLC/?ref=br_rs

He does amazing illustrating and graphic design work and here’s a sample:

You can buy my books from various places, here’s a link to the Vedauwoo book, “Vedauwoo: Hidden Faces in Mysterious Places,” about Vedauwoo, Wyoming and some of the animals, the history of the area, geology and recreation activities that you can do there. It also has some fun photographs where you can find hidden faces and shapes, as well as animals that are camouflaged.

You can also find links where you can buy my books on my website. They can be found in Wyoming at these independent book stores: Wind City Books in Casper, Wyoming, the University of Wyoming Book store in Laramie, Wyoming, City Newsstand in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

They can also be found in Barnes and Noble Booksellers stores. If they don’t have copies available you can order them.

Also you can find my books at www.amazon.com by doing a search for Karen O. Cotton.

I’ve been hard at work on new manuscripts. I finished a fourth children’s picture book, “The Candy Witch,” is its working title. I am working on two sweet romances for adults under a pen name. I’ve also decided to start work on my memoir, since I met a lot of interesting people in my former job as an entertainment reporter, and have had some enlightening experiences in my life thus far.

I’m also teaching piano lessons, taking private violin and guitar lessons, and songwriting. I hope to have an album out at the end of 2018. I will also be taking some drawing workshops through the Cheyenne Artists Guild in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

If you’re interested in buying my photography I just opened an Etsy shop, Karen Cotton Creations:

I also started working with VIDA, a clothing, home and accessory company that transposes my art into wearable and decorative items. This is my favorite piece that I’ve created so far:

Thanks for supporting me.

Much love,
